The Jacqueline Houseboats is one of Kashmir’s leading and largest hospitality enterprises founded in 1912. The group is also involved in travel tour services in Kashmir & Ladakh. Jacqueline Houseboats on Dal Lake are an amalgamation of all that is the last word in pampered comfort, elegant lavishness and abiding romance.
The enterprise was started by Late Mohd Ismail and his father and the legacy of hospitality was passed to current generation (third gen) headed by Mohd Latif and his brothers.
The enterprise is proud to host many high profile guests including Mrs Indira Gandhi, Ex PM of India, S H Carlill, Vice Admiral, Indian Navy, J N Chaudhuri, Maj General, Indian Army, Gerard Slessenger, BBC apart from hosting the royal family of Kashmir (Maharajas of Kashmir).
The enterprise owns a fleet of houseboats and provides tour and travelservices to its customers apart from accommodation in luxury Jacqueline houseboats.
